We roast your coffee in Chikmagalur, right where the country's greatest estates are. Orders are typically roasted, packed, and shipped within 2–3 business days. Fresh coffee takes its time, though: most cities get their orders in 5-6 days, and remote spots might take up to 10. But that little wait? It lets your coffee degass perfectly, so it lands at your door right when it’s tasting amazing.

Roasting creates CO2 in coffee beans. This gas can create extraction issues in freshly roasted coffee if brewed immediately. 'Degassing' is when the beans release their trapped gasses to reach a stage of optimal flavor and brewing capacity. Most coffees need around 7 days of chill time after roasting before they really shine.
